New Orleans: I remember thinking I need to get my car out, the only insurence I had on it was liablity. So I left Saturday before the storm. When Katrina hit, my dad's car was parked where mine had been and a tree fell on it.
WE stayed in Baton Rouge almost two weeks before we were able to go home. I left and went to Orlando where I was then hit by parts of RIta and WIlma. Power was only out for a few days aftre WIlma, and RIta a few hours.
