Permanent Katrina X
After Hurricane Katrina, every building and house searched by rescue teams featured the famous X marking on it. Many home and building owners kept their X to remember certain things it meant for them. The owners of this house had a replica of their X made, and it is permanently fastened to the front of their house. I believe it shows how strong and proud we all were to "swim back home."
