We came back to the city about 5 weeks after the flood. We explored Lakeview and the 17th St. Canal where we heard there had been a breach. The crew was already at work but the hole in the wall was shocking. Hardly anyone was around and we walked up to where the wall used to be to peek down the canal. I felt anxious standing on the bank of the canal and knowing I shouldn\'t be there.
