August 29th year 2005 is the year my entire life was torn apart. I left New Orleans the day before Katrina hit, I made it as far as Mobile Al. That\'s where I rode out the terror filled hours of my life....I can honestly say I have never been that scared before. After the storm there was no power anywhere along the gulf coast. Finally got a generator hooked up to watch the T.V. so I knew what had happened with my home in Mid-City, my house was on Jeff-Davis and Banks...any way after the storm I found my way to Wichita KS. \r\nThat\'s where a nice Christian lady sitting behind a sign asking for donations told me I got just what I deserved!!! She said that we, the people of New Orleans, live such an immorale lifestyle that GOD was just cleansing the city. This was my reply to her, \"Have you ever heard of the French Quater?\" she said she had, I then told her it was untouched by the storm and then asked her if she knew why? She said no so I told this woman sitting behind her church sign that the reason for this was GOD likes to take a day off every now and then and he comes to New Orleans and Partys his ass off with the good people of The Big Easy!!!!!
