neighborhood of New Orleans. The Mount Carmel Academy
is a private, Catholic secondary school for girls in
the Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is conducted by
the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who have
educated young ladies in New Orleans since 1833.
